What is Social Networking?

Social networking is also called the Web 2.0 (two point oh), and just means building a community around some “thing”.

In Facebook parlance, that thing is “you”, and is moving toward also “your business”, but mostly small business, i.e. LLCs and sole proprietors that offer a service.

Think of Social Networking as a new Media Channel, not unlike TV, Radio or Newsprint.
